In tragic news 26 people are dead today from several rocket explosions in mid-town Manhattan that nearly leveled an entire city block. At the epicenter of the pandemonium, FDNY, PDNY, FBI and SWAT all responded to what one witness described as
"sheer, face-clawing terror... it was horrible, I couldn't believe it was real, this guy just took out a fucking rocket launcher and pointed it at a taxi cab and fired. It was like something out of a freakish, immoral videogame. I wandered around on fire for several minutes. The 8 hare krishnas who died were just completely immolated by the explosion."
The tally of the dead stands at 6 old women, 8 hare krishnas, 4 elvis impersonators, and bus full of school children. Services will be this Friday. Rock Star representatives had this to say:
"We believe this tragedy will really get the word out about how seriously we are taking this game. Hopefully the families of the dead will spread the word about the new features of GTA4, like how realistic it is. Coming Q2 '08"
